Coffee Make Difficult Pregnant women

Drinking coffee makes women more difficult to get pregnant, a study mentioned. This is expected because of Caffeine, which is contained in coffee damaging transport eggs from the ovaries to the uterus, say the scientists from the United States.

Study involving 9000 women found that drinking more than four cups of coffee a day cut chances of getting pregnant by a quarter times.

Recent investigations conducted in mice showed that caffeine inhibits contractions of the fallopian tubes are needed to bring the egg to the uterus.

Caffeine activates the cell-specific pacemaker cells in the tube wall. These cells coordinate the contraction wave tubes that carry eggs to the uterus moves.

Study leader Sean Ward, from the University of Nevada at Reno, USA, says the findings provide interesting explanations of why women with high caffeine consumption often takes much longer to conceive than women who did not consume caffeine.
